At the beginning of the first quarter of 2026, Sao Mai – Ben Dinh Petroleum Investment Joint Stock Company (PVSB) successfully completed the supply and handover of three Tadano GR-1000EX 100-ton rough terrain cranes, manufactured in Japan, to a partner operating in the energy and industrial sectors.

The project was delivered ahead of the contractual schedule, highlighting PVSB’s strong capability in providing specialized lifting equipment and integrated equipment supply solutions for large-scale industrial and energy projects.

The contract, signed in the fourth quarter of 2025, has a total value of approximately USD 3 million. The scope of work includes the procurement and delivery of three brand-new Tadano GR-1000EX cranes manufactured in 2025, supplied with full original accessories and spare parts in accordance with the manufacturer’s standards.

The Tadano GR-1000EX represents a new generation of rough terrain cranes developed by Tadano, one of the world’s leading lifting equipment manufacturers from Japan.

Designed for high performance and operational reliability, the crane features a maximum lifting capacity of 100 tons, superior mobility with its rugged wheeled chassis, and an advanced safety control system. These capabilities enable the equipment to operate effectively in challenging environments across multiple sectors, including: offshore and onshore oil and gas operations, wind power and renewable energy projects, port logistics and heavy cargo handling, heavy industry and large-scale construction projects.

Manufactured in Japan under strict engineering and quality control standards, the Tadano GR-1000EX is recognized globally for its durability, operational precision, and safety performance in demanding industrial conditions. To ensure full compliance with project specifications, all cranes underwent comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at Tadano’s manufacturing facility in Japan prior to shipment. The FAT process was conducted with the direct participation and supervision of the customer, verifying that all equipment met the required technical specifications and quality standards before leaving the factory.

Upon arrival in Vietnam, the cranes were further inspected and certified by the Vietnam Register, completing all required technical procedures prior to commissioning. This multi-layer inspection process ensures maximum operational safety, stable lifting performance, and full compliance with international technical standards.

The successful early completion and handover of the three Tadano GR-1000EX cranes enable the customer to promptly deploy the equipment for key industrial and energy projects. More importantly, the project reinforces PVSB’s capability in large-scale equipment procurement, supply chain coordination, and project management, further strengthening the Company’s reputation as a trusted partner in the industrial equipment and technical services sector.

As demand for high-capacity lifting equipment continues to grow in energy, infrastructure, and heavy industry, projects like this play a crucial role in supporting the development of large-scale industrial operations. The successful delivery of this contract represents another important milestone in PVSB’s strategy to expand its technical equipment business, while also strengthening long-term partnerships with stakeholders across the global industrial supply chain.
