PVSB Delivers 32-Ton Tower Crane to PTSC M&C, Enhancing Fabrication Capabilities for Energy Projects
The successful delivery of the Zoomlion R800-32W heavy-duty tower crane marks another strategic milestone for Sao Mai – Ben Dinh Petroleum Investment Joint Stock Company (PVSB) in the industrial equipment supply sector. The project contributes to strengthening fabrication capabilities for Vietnam's oil & gas and renewable energy industries.
In the second quarter of 2026, PVSB successfully completed the supply, erection, load testing and handover of one Zoomlion R800-32W Tower Crane to PTSC Mechanical & Construction Company Limited (PTSC M&C). The project was executed in full compliance with all contractual commitments regarding technical specifications, quality, safety and schedule. Valued at approximately USD 1 million, the contract was awarded through an open competitive bidding process in the third quarter of 2025. Leveraging its proven project execution capability, extensive industry experience and optimized technical solution, the consortium involving PVSB was selected to undertake this important package. The project forms part of PTSC M&C's investment program to modernize its fabrication yard, supporting the construction of offshore oil & gas facilities, offshore wind projects and next-generation energy infrastructure.

The Zoomlion R800-32W offers outstanding performance with a maximum lifting capacity of 32 tonnes, an 80-metre jib, and a working height of approximately 83.6 metres, enabling the safe and efficient handling of oversized and heavy steel structures. The crane features an intelligent variable-frequency drive control system, a modern operator cabin equipped with an elevator, and advanced monitoring and safety protection systems. Certified with the CE Mark, the equipment fully complies with stringent European standards for safety, quality and reliability.
Before shipment, the crane successfully passed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at Zoomlion's manufacturing facility in China. Owing to its oversized dimensions, transportation to Vietnam was carried out in multiple shipments under strict logistics control. PVSB worked closely with the Owner throughout every stage of project execution, including logistics coordination, foundation construction, on-site erection, commissioning and load testing. This close collaboration ensured the project was completed safely and on schedule.

The successful completion of the project once again demonstrates PVSB's capability in delivering comprehensive industrial equipment solutions, covering tender management, quality assurance, international logistics and turnkey technical delivery. As Vietnam's oil & gas and renewable energy sectors continue to expand, PVSB remains committed to providing advanced technical equipment and integrated engineering solutions, partnering with industry leaders to support the sustainable development and global competitiveness of Vietnam's energy industry.
